First frame to last frame

The cleanest transitions in short-form are two stills and a journey between them: the same person in two outfits, a room before and after, a wide shot that lands on a detail. Photo to Video takes a first frame and an optional last frame and renders the motion that connects them.

Both frames can come from your rail — make two persona photos of your AI influencer, or two edits of the same shot — or be uploads. The clip inherits the shape of the first frame, so keep both at the same ratio.

First frame to last frame

What this solves

  • Outfit-change transitions without a jump cut
  • Before/after reveals as one continuous move
  • A wide establishing shot that lands on the product
  • Two moments from a photoshoot joined into one clip

The steps

01

Make the two stills at the same ratio

Questions

Do the frames need the same person?

For a clean transition, yes — same person, same ratio, similar framing. Different subjects produce a morph rather than a move.

What if I only have one frame?

Leave the last frame empty and the clip animates forward from the first frame using your motion prompt.

How long should the transition be?

Four to six seconds. Longer clips spend most of the time idling on one of the frames.
