The flat lay is the grid's favorite format for a reason: it is calm, square, and it makes one small product look like a whole brand. Building one for real means a clean surface, the right props, a stepladder and good north light. Flat Lay Styler does it from a single photo of the item. Upload a candle, a skincare tube, a paperback, a pair of earrings or a bag of coffee, and get back a 1:1 top-down arrangement with your product as the hero and tasteful props around it. The product is not regenerated, so the label and color are what your customer receives.

Choose a surface: linen for soft and cozy, marble for beauty and jewelry, wood for food and craft, concrete for streetwear and tech, paper for stationery and minimal brands. Then type the props you want in the text field, like a sprig of eucalyptus and a linen napkin, or dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks. The tool sets your product flat from directly above, arranges the props around it with even, shadowless light from a window, and keeps everything on the same scale. Nothing overlaps the product. Output is always square, so the result goes straight to the grid or a listing gallery without cropping.

Run a few surface and prop combinations at Standard until the mood is right, then rerun the keeper at Pro for finer fabric weave and sharper prop edges. One photo costs 4 credits at Standard, 12 at Pro and 44 at Max, and 4 free credits on signup cover a first flat lay. A single product can carry a full launch week: linen for the announcement, marble for the giveaway, wood for the restock. Send the result to Reframe when you need a 9:16 story or a 16:9 banner, to Upscale for a print or a product page hero, and to Photo to Video for a slow overhead drift across the arrangement.

Questions

How many props should I list?

Two or three is the sweet spot. One texture like a napkin, one natural element like a sprig or a slice of fruit, and one small object. More than that crowds the square and pulls attention off the product.

Does it keep my product exactly as photographed?

Yes. The item is lifted from your photo and placed into the arrangement with its label, colors and shape pixel-accurate. The surface, props and lighting are the only things generated.

Can I use a product photo that was not taken from above?

Yes. The tool repositions the item to lie flat and reads it from the top. Best results come from a photo with the item's main face visible, like the front of a box or the label side of a bottle.

Why is the output always square?

Flat lays are built for the grid and for listing galleries, both of which are 1:1. Make the square here, then use Reframe to extend it to 4:5 or 9:16 without cutting off props.

Can I try Flat Lay for Social without paying?

Yes — every new account starts with 4 free credits, enough for a Standard run of most tools. Plans start at $15 for 1,000 credits a month and packs at $4.99 for 250.
