One idea, four platforms, four aspect ratios. Reframe for Platform turns a render made for one into a version made for the next: a 16:9 YouTube thumbnail becomes a 9:16 Shorts cover, a 1:1 podcast cover becomes a 3:1 X header, a 4:5 carousel slide becomes a 1:1 feed post. Pick the new size from the list and the tool recomposes the image, keeping the main subject fully visible and centered, extending the scene where the new frame is bigger and cropping naturally where it is smaller.

Fourteen sizes cover the fleet: 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 square, 4:5 and 3:4 portrait, 4:3 and 3:2 landscape, 2:3 for Pinterest, 5:4, 2:1, 1.91:1 for link previews, 21:9 ultrawide, 2.5:1 for Twitch and Facebook banners, 3:1 for X and LinkedIn headers. The extension is generative — new areas are filled to match — so a tight portrait can become a wide banner with room for text on the sides.

It is in the Next row under every result for a reason: the second format is where most creators stop, and Reframe removes the reason. Make the hero asset once at Pro, then Reframe it to every other size at Standard for 4 credits each. Check text after reframing — titles near an edge can be cropped in a tighter ratio — and use Text Replacer or Edit With Words if a word needs to move. For a from-scratch vertical cover with its own layout, Reel Cover Maker is the alternative.

Questions

Does it stretch the image?

No. It recomposes: the subject is kept at its proportions and the scene is extended or cropped to fill the new ratio.

What happens to text near the edges?

In a tighter ratio it may be cropped, since the subject is prioritized. Check the canvas and fix with Text Replacer or Edit With Words.

Which size is a Twitch banner?

2.5:1. X and LinkedIn headers are 3:1, YouTube banners are 16:9, Shorts and stories are 9:16.

Can I go from vertical to wide?

Yes — the scene is generated outward on both sides. Simple backgrounds extend most convincingly.

Is Reframe for Platform free to try?

New accounts get 4 free credits — one Standard run of Reframe for Platform. After that, plans start at $15 for 1,000 credits and packs from $4.99.
