Group shot from the meetup, everyone looks great, and you are the one doing the tight, closed-mouth thing because the photographer said cheese one beat too late. Or the profile photo where the smile is real but lopsided, or the sponsor selfie where it reads forced. Fix the Smile takes that one photo and adjusts only the smile: relaxes the mouth, evens the corners, shows a natural amount of teeth and lets the eyes join in so it stops looking pasted on. The rest of the frame, the people next to you, the lighting and the crop are untouched. What you get back is the shot you thought you were taking.

There are no settings to fiddle with. Upload the photo and the tool reads the face, figures out what a relaxed, natural smile would look like on that face specifically, and rebuilds the mouth area to match. It keeps your teeth shape, lip color and any gaps or character your smile actually has, so it still looks like you and not a stock-photo grin. Lighting on the cheeks and chin is re-matched so the edit blends. It is tuned for one clear face per run; in a group photo it targets the most prominent face, so crop to the person you want first if there are several people in the frame.

A single Standard run is 4 credits and is usually all it takes, so this is a good tool to spend your 4 free signup credits on. If the smile is fixed but you also want a fuller change of mood, run Swap Your Expression next; if the eyes were shut, run Fix Closed Eyes. For a profile photo, follow up with Retouch Face for skin and then Profile Picture to get a clean crop for every platform. For a group shot, fix the one person, then send the whole frame to Upscale before you print it or post it to the grid at full size.

Questions

Is there anything to set before I generate?

No. Upload the photo and run it; the tool works out what a natural smile looks like on your face and rebuilds only the mouth area. If you want a specific mood instead, Swap Your Expression has a menu of eight.

What happens if my mouth is closed in the original?

It opens the smile a natural amount and generates teeth that match your face, using any earlier visible detail like lip shape and skin tone. The result stays subtle rather than jumping to a full grin.

Will it work on a group photo with several faces?

It fixes the most prominent face in the frame. To target a specific person in a crowd, crop to them first, fix the smile, then put the piece back with Edit With Words or work from the crop alone.

How many credits does one fix cost?

4 credits at Standard, 12 at Pro. The first Standard run is covered by the 4 free credits you get on signup, and one pass is normally enough.

Can I try Smile Touch-Up without paying?

Yes — every new account starts with 4 free credits, enough for a Standard run of most tools. Plans start at $15 for 1,000 credits a month and packs at $4.99 for 250.
