Artists on TikTok and YouTube already know the format: the sketch, then the reveal. Sketch to Finished Art takes any rough drawing, from a napkin doodle photographed on your phone to a clean tablet lineart, and renders it into a finished piece while keeping your composition, proportions and line decisions in place. That makes it a fast way to preview a painting before you commit hours, a satisfying before-and-after for content, a way to show clients a direction, and a shortcut for non-artists who can only draw stick figures but know exactly what they want. Your idea stays yours; the tool handles rendering.
Upload the sketch. Pick how to Render as: digital painting for a polished brushed look, watercolor for soft washes and bleed, oil painting for thick texture and rich color, comic ink for bold black lines and flat color, photoreal for a camera-like image, anime for clean cel shading, concept art for a painterly studio finish, or flat vector for crisp graphic shapes. The Extra direction field is optional; use it for color, lighting or material notes such as warm sunset colors and mossy stones. The layout of your sketch stays the same: the figure stands where you drew it, the horizon sits where you put it, and the tool adds surface, light and detail on top.
A one-photo run is 4 credits at Standard, 12 at Pro and 44 at Max. Try two or three render styles at Standard on the same sketch, then finish the one you like at Pro. Draw cleaner lines and the result follows more faithfully; leave things loose and the tool fills in more. Film the sketch, then cut to the render for a reveal video, and animate the finished piece with Photo to Video for a longer clip. Upscale before printing. If one area strays from your drawing, fix it with a sentence in Edit With Words. Your 4 free credits at signup cover a first Standard render.

Questions
Which kind of sketch works best?
A clear drawing on plain paper or a clean tablet export, with visible outlines and decent contrast. Photograph paper sketches in even light without shadows across the page. Very faint pencil can be traced over first.
Does it keep my exact composition and proportions?
Yes, that is the goal: the placement, poses and framing follow your drawing, and the render adds color, texture and light. The looser the sketch, the more the tool interprets, so tighten lines where accuracy matters.
What should I type in the extra direction field?
Color, lighting and material notes work best: 'golden hour, brass and leather, misty background'. You can also name what an unlabeled shape is, like 'the round thing is a lantern', to stop guesses.
Can I use it for a sketch someone else drew?
Only with their permission, since the render is built directly on their work. For your own fan art, commissions or client concepts, it is a great way to show a direction before the final piece.
Can I try Sketch to Finished Art without paying?
Yes — every new account starts with 4 free credits, enough for a Standard run of most tools. Plans start at $15 for 1,000 credits a month and packs at $4.99 for 250.
